Says that the schools in South Carolina will not open until November 1st. Offers teaching positions to Martha Schofield and Elizabeth Yarnall at the "Village School."

    Miss [?] writes
    me that the Race [Street] friends
    have decided to open up
    the Village school & Mr. Tomlinson
    says in his letter to say that
    he thinks he will get Mr Eustis
    house. So I guess there will be
